Lauren Black DC, BSc(Hons) MChiro
Educated in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal complaints & conditions as well as chronic and acute pain. Lauren qualified from the University of South Wales with a First Class Honours in her Masters of Chiropractic degree. During her degree she obtained additional diplomas in medical acupuncture and sports massage therapy. In her practice she uses hands on spinal & joint manipulations, myofascial release techniques, medical acupuncture and exercise prescription to help her patients get back to the energetic and life loving people they once were! Lauren is passionate about healing others and her skills in doing so are evident.
Before deciding to study at University Lauren travelled the world; she has lived in 6 different countries, hitch hiked her way around the southern hemisphere and made a living performing her music in bars and cafes, ventured solo through India and Indonesia and has tried her hand at everything from being a nanny, a chalet host to a tree surgeons apprentice. These days she still plays music, enjoys pottering in the garden, making delicious food for her family, hot baths, cold showers and getting lost in the Welsh hills.
